The Sahuarita Unified School District Educational Enrichment Foundation (SEEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2003 with a mission to enrich educational opportunities for students within the Sahuarita Unified School District (SUSD) and the surrounding community. Through partnerships, philanthropy, and community support, the Foundation works to enhance learning experiences and expand access to educational resources.

SEEF supports a wide range of programs and initiatives that directly impact students and educators. These include teacher mini-grants, college scholarships, the Sopori Preschool Program, the LINK before- and after-school care program, and the Amado–Sahuarita Adult Learning Program. The Foundation also helps bridge funding gaps by providing resources for educational needs that are not covered by the district’s regular budget.

In recent years, SEEF has proudly supported special initiatives across the district, including Anza Trail’s band uniform campaign, Walden Grove’s student council summer leadership training, A+ School of Excellence spirit shirts for Anza Trail and Sahuarita Primary School, emergency supply kits for Sahuarita Intermediate School, LEGO robotics kits for Copper View Elementary, an after-school sewing program at Sahuarita Middle School, collaborative efforts with Sopori’s preschool program, and media technology enhancements at Sahuarita High School.

Looking ahead, SEEF is focused on long-term sustainability and meaningful impact. The Foundation is committed to securing and administering endowments that support post-secondary education, expanding educational and professional development grants for teachers, and increasing access to summer enrichment opportunities for individual students and student groups with demonstrated financial need.
